Stitch And Boots Is Live!

Pearl.jpg
Ok guys- it's up and it's ready for you to visit!  It was with many tears and not much laughter that I managed to get it this far.  You will see that there are only two posts on the site so far but I will be working hard to get content posted because as I've mentioned before I already have some great articles written by friends that will be of interest to the urban homesteaders out there!  Many of you are gardeners, cooks, home makers, craftspeople, and curious so I know that you'll enjoy what's coming.

Can you tell I'm jumping up and down with ill-concealed excitement?  This is a dream of mine that I'm finally making happen.  I know it isn't ideal, the categories aren't sophisticated because it's just a blog and not a custom one, but at this point I don't care about that.  It has a search feature and that should help people find the information they're specifically interested in later on as the site really fills out.

So please PLEASE go say hello and though you know I've decided to love my bitter/lovely little life blog here in its largely undiscovered form because my readers are so loyal... Stitch And Boots is not about me specifically and is going to feature other people's work and hopefully suggestions from you all on content so that it's a thriving place to get information.  So please share the link and tell your friends.  I wouldn't ask you to do this normally but I think this is going to be an amazing site and it needs your help to be seen so that I can bribe other good writer friends to contribute content for free.  Who wants to contribute professional grade articles to a site with no visitors.

Time to go to breakfast with friends.  I hope you all have a lovely Saturday!!

(Oh, and later I hope to show you pictures of my very funky Easter eggs!)

Taj:

I'm so excited for your new site. I can't wait to share it with other people finally. I've told so many people about your site and I just can't wait to give them this other address too. As a cowardly canner and a "black thumb" farmer, I just hope there's advice on there for people like me-haha!

Thank you for all your comments, but the time for comments is now over. Comments have been turned off on the entire site.
