Wanna Raise Some Eyebrows?

Although the concept and words were mine, I have to admit that Philip did all the work. He did the artwork, the computer work, and he did the silk screening himself.

You might not believe me when I tell you that these pictures are the photo-shopped ones. It's very dark out today and I just had to get the pictures finally taken.

This T-shirt design might be just a little too edgy for most people out there. It needed to be done though, so Philip has brought it to life. I just put two of them up on my Etsy shop.

These shirts have been ready for a while. I've been meaning to show them to everyone. One thing that giving myself permission not to worry about making money for a month has done for me is that I actually felt like taking care of a little housekeeping both in my house, and on my Etsy shop. It is such a relief to get things done that have been weighing on me. If I waited for sunshine (literally) to make the pictures look pretty, I would never have taken them.

In other news... I just spoke with the Vet and Ozark has a kidney infection AND high "values" in his kidney blood work (vet speak for- BAD NEWS). This basically means that he has a kidney infection AND his kidneys are failing. If he responds to treatment for the infection, and if after the infection is gone his "values" are lower, then that means his kidneys are beginning to function either partially or wholey. The Vet does not have high hopes though and has warned me to be prepared for the possibility that Ozark has a limited time.

I really wasn't expecting better new, to be honest. Ozark has been perking up with the fluids that Philip has injected in him, but he still isn't doing great. It's all a wait and see game, and of course, giving the cat some love.

Note: I have been anonymously accused of copyright infringement, which is a pretty serious accusation. I have checked out the design that I am supposed to have copied and the only thing the designs have in common is the phrase "Needle Junkie", in every other respect the designs could not be more different. I was completely unaware of the existence of another "needle junkie" design being out there. I have consulted Philip on the accusation since he has not only been a professional screen printer (they must be aware of copyright laws), but also a professional graphic artist for his whole adult life, and he says that words cannot be copyrighted nor can IDEAS. A thousand people could have the same idea and everyone has a right to use the same idea, the copyrighting is in the execution of the design.

Before making an accusation like that you need to be very sure of your facts. It is not wise to accuse people of a crime on behalf of someone else. If the designer themselves thinks their rights have been violated, it is up to them to take action. Anonymous third parties who are in possession of none of the facts might inadvertently get the designer they are trying to protect in big legal trouble. So think carefully before taking such action. And for God's sake, have the courage to put your name on your accusation, otherwise you're just being nasty.

Luckily, in this case, there is no case.
