Everyone Loves A Poisonous Mushroom!
I am thrilled to say that I'm having WAY more good days than bad lately. I also have about twenty posts milling around excitedly in my head...they are making such a din I can hardly hear myself think. I just posted a smock project on Stitch And Boots and I totally want you to go read it and then I desperately want you to make one and send me pictures! The second I figure out how to make a PDF file that others can download from my site, I will offer up free copies of my mushroom applique. Because who doesn't love a poisonous mushroom?!
I just did an impromptu professional writing job that fell in my lap yesterday so that's pretty cool and has made me feel good. A writer can never be sad about getting paid to write, even if it's not something exciting like the story of the woman who only meets people named Sue. Brochures need love too.
I'm practically jumping out of my seat- can you tell? Can you feel my palpable excitement leaching into your screen? Is it infecting you? I can hardly breath- I just got 7.5 cubic yards of soil dumped in my driveway and it's beautiful! I want to roll in it! The sun is out which means I must get outside and do garden work because it is supposed to start raining tomorrow and not stop for 40 days and nights.
I have messages of love to share with all of you (and myself). I had a post mentally written but now I must grab at that sunshine. I must make hay...or shred my tires...or...oh hell- words boggle!
Oh yes- and remind me to tell you all about how my kid knows exactly how many fish sticks I give him for dinner every night, how he has to leave exactly 1 of them every single time, and how he knows, with just a glance, if I've given him an extra one. Ask me why I give him exactly 9 of them. I have a lot to say on this subject.
Alright. I'm going to put makeup on. I'm going to go outside and have a brilliant time in the garden. But you, my lovelies, must stay indoors and stitch this smock. I insist.

You know how I love those poisonous mushrooms!
In fact, I need to make this smock so I can wear it when I start silkscreening poisonous mushrooms onto t-shirts this weekend. Enjoy the sunshine. That is a mountain of dirt!!! -tonia

Oh I love your shrooms. Watch out for slivers if you roll in your soil. :)

So glad to hear you're having a good day!! I'm betting Max only likes even numbers. And those mushrooms are too cute! They'd be stinking cute on an apron or kitchen towels too.
